Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed (2 Timothy 2:15)
AWANA is a dynamic, non-denominational, evangelical, Bible-based club designed to teach kids ages 2 through junior high the foundational truths of Scripture. Our goal is to instill a love for God’s Word in children’s hearts, encourage them in their spiritual growth, and help them develop a lifelong relationship with Jesus Christ.
What We Believe
At AWANA, we believe that the Bible is God’s inspired Word, revealing His deep love for all people and His plan of salvation through His Son, Jesus Christ. As it says in John 3:16, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.” Through faith in Jesus, anyone can be saved from judgment and receive the gift of eternal life (Ephesians 2:8, Romans 10:9). Our program is grounded in this truth, and we are committed to teaching children about the love and grace of God. For a full understanding of our doctrinal beliefs, please visit the official AWANA website.
Building a Strong Biblical Foundation
AWANA is about more than just memorizing verses—it's about learning to love and live out God's Word. We teach Bible basics in an engaging and fun environment, helping children to understand and apply Scripture to their daily lives. Our program encourages regular church attendance and promotes personal and family Bible study. We equip young people to discern and compare what they hear against the truth of the Bible, fostering critical thinking and a solid foundation of faith.
Dedicated Leadership
Our AWANA leaders are passionate about reaching children with the gospel and guiding them in their spiritual journey. Many of our leaders are high school students and adults who regularly attend Bethany Bible Chapel and have a heart for children’s ministry. Many of them grew up in the AWANA program themselves and are now committed to giving back and making a difference in the lives of the next generation. They provide a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive.
Join Us at AWANA!
We invite you to bring your children to join us at AWANA. It's a place where kids can have fun, make friends, and learn about God’s love in a welcoming, supportive community. For more information about our AWANA program, including meeting times and registration details, please contact us.
At AWANA, we're excited to partner with parents in the spiritual training of their children, helping them become approved workmen who are not ashamed, rightly handling the Word of truth (2 Timothy 2:15).
