What to Expect?

Our 9:00am service is called the Breaking of Bread or Lord’s Supper. This service is unscripted and focuses on remembering our Lord Jesus Christ’s death on the cross, and all He has done for us. During the Last Supper, described in 1 Corinthians 11:23-29, Jesus took a loaf of bread and broke it gave it to His disciples, saying, “This is my body given for you; do this in remembrance of me.” The breaking of bread at that first communion table has been reenacted down through the centuries as a way of remembering that first celebration of both His sacrifice on the cross and the institution of the New Covenant in His blood (v. 25). Each Lord’s Supper service includes the breaking of bread and the drinking of the cup which represent Jesus’ body that was broken and His blood that was shed on the cross of Calvary. As led by the Holy Spirit, several men lead the worship through Scripture reading, hymns, prayer, meditations and even silence. Women fully participate in worship during this service as described in Scripture through singing, silent prayer, and meditation. The service concludes with taking the bread and the cup. If you have trusted Jesus Christ as your Savior, you are welcome to participate of the elements. If not, simply pass the trays and the offering. We would love the opportunity to help you begin a relationship with Jesus Christ! Please see one of the elders if you have any questions.

Our 10:30am service is a Contemporary Worship Service with our Praise Team where we spend time in singing and then have a 30-40 minute message that is doctrinally-sound. Children attend Sunday School during this time.
